What is Cafe Femenino? Glad you asked.

Café Femenino originated in northern Peru when 464 women coffee farmers associated with CECANOR separated their coffee production so that their work could be recognized and the women could receive their own income. CECANOR and Organic Products Trading Company then developed the Café Femenino model and later the Cafe Femenino Foundation was created. Café Femenino works through women-producer groups inside established cooperatives. Currently there are 10 participating cooperatives across 9 countries.
